Friday Night for Teens is a free program that gives kids a safe space to have fun and hang out. From 4pm to 7pm Battery Park City Parks Conservancy’s events space, 6 River Terrace, will open so teens can drop by to play games like table tennis, foosball, super-sized Connect-4, board games, or just hang out.
Parks Programming Leaders will be on hand to help break the ice and make sure everyone has fun. There will be pizza, snacks, a movie and lots of opportunities for selfies. Come by with your friends or come meet new ones! No parents allowed.

Learn low impact workouts useful for a lifetime. Swimming results in lean muscle mass and increased cardio-respiratory fitness, all without causing stress to your joints. Cardio Swim Workouts will incorporate sprint, distance and interval training to increase speed, endurance and overall fitness. This small group program is for experienced swimmers ages 14 and up. Participants must be able to swim 40 laps.
Meets Wednesdays. Kick boards and fins provided. All swimmers will need to bring a towel, a swim cap, goggles and a lock.
Free for members. Pool day passes are available: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and youths.
