The Eastern Idaho Region is a medical service hub serving the growing medical needs for patients in several states. In addition to having three modern hospitals, a cancer center, and a cardiac center, there are a multitude of supporting diagnostic facilities, medical laboratories, outpatient facilities, and medical support businesses.

The three largest facilities in the region are the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Bingham Memorial Hospital, and the Portneuf Medical Center.

Mountain View Hospital is a small hospital owned and operated by local physicians.  The hospital provides a full complement of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, and rehabilitative services. The Teton Cancer Institute, an affiliate of Mountain View Hospital, serves as a full-service cancer center for people across the region.
